My lifelong passion with music began as a local teenager at Palos Verdes High School. I have always had a fascination with different styles of music. Last November, 2005, I had one of the most rewarding experiences of my life joining a musical group called "No Boundries." This group is comprised of disabled musicians and performs at various events with organizations such as Easter Seals. The group was formed through ExBound, a social center for the disabled; their motto is "Breaking Social Boundaries." Initially, they contacted me to provide a cd record in my home studio. I was then invited to participate in the band as the guitarist and "seeing the importance of it all" was honored to participate. In February 2006 the band got a big break with a donation from the Gibson Foundation. The Gibson Foundation along with Coldwell Banker sponsored the band to travel to China through WACE, World America Cultural Exchange. No Boundries and other guests performed in Beijing and Shanghai. In the picture you can see our band at an informal gathering playing at the Great Wall of China. ExBound’s focus is to bring disabled persons together, no matter how minor or severe, for "a sense of belonging."
